Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking an experienced Level II Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a collaborative, evidence-based practice setting. You will lead nursing activities, coordinate care across disciplines, and support ongoing quality and safety initiatives.

The role requires a BSN and RN licensure with experience in obstetric or related areas; ACLS/NRP certifications are expected within specified periods.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and has RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required or to be obtained as specified.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and teamwork to achieve patient outcomes.
• Coordinate patient/family teaching, discharge planning, and plan of care with the health team.
• Contribute to and participate in quality improvement activities and unit policy development.
