Job summary

Adventist Health Bakersfield is seeking an RN for Labor and Delivery on the night shift, full-time. The role delivers coordinated nursing care, supervises staff, and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include a state RN license, BLS/CPR, and additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, FHM) as per policy. BSN preferred and acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; acute care experience preferred.
• RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• BLS/CPR required; ACLS/NRP/FHM as appropriate per AH policy.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Implements the plan and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
