Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Maternity Registered Nurse for 24-hour day shifts, 7a–3p, with every other weekend, benefit eligible.

The role focuses on nursing care from infant to elderly, obstetric surgical support, and patient education; must maintain competencies and collaborate in care planning.

Required: MA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP; Education: Nursing Diploma/ASN/BSN; BSN preferred with ability to obtain BSN within 4 years; prior labor and delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from infant to elderly with attention to special needs.
• Maintain competency in Labor & Delivery, sterile field management, and obstetric surgical assistance.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families; document and coordinate care.
• Collaborate with care teams to plan and implement patient care and teaching
