Job summary

Corewell Health’s Royal Oak Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for the Family Birth Center on the night shift. You will provide professional nursing care from delivery through recovery for both uncomplicated and high-risk pregnancies while ensuring patient-family centered care and adherence to hospital policies.

The role requires MI RN licensure, BLS, NRP, and EFM certifications, with preferred L&D experience; 36-hour weekly schedule, 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years if new graduate/nurse with less than one year.
• RN licensure required by MI at hire or within 60 days of hire.
• BLS (AHA/ARC) required upon hire/transfer.
• NRP within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• EFM certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient-family centered approach.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and care teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families and document education in the health record.
