Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a Full-time Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse west of Albuquerque to provide comprehensive maternal and neonatal care. You will monitor maternal and fetal health, manage medications, and assist with pain relief while supporting physicians and midwives during deliveries.

Emphasis on documentation, emergencies, and family education. Ideal candidates hold an NM RN license with 2+ years in Labor & Delivery, BLS and NRP certifications, and strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Active NM RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, administer medications, and assist with pain management
• Support physicians and midwives during deliveries and surgical procedures when necessary
• Educate and support patients and families on the birthing process and postnatal care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation
• Respond to emergency situations with professionalism and clinical expertise
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
