Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM seeks a day shift, full-time Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide patient care and lead within the unit. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and possible relocation assistance.

The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, adhere to safety and policy standards, and may serve as Charge Nurse as needed. This role requires NM nursing licensure, BLS, and preferred ACLS/PALS; bachelor's degree encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must have either an Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS or PALS may be required by Hiring Department.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Two years of experience in the specialty preferred.
• Two years of general nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
