Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery (RN-L&D) to join our Roswell, NM team. You will provide obstetric nursing care to mothers and newborns, monitor fetal status, and document care in the EMR.

The ideal candidate holds an NM RN license, with BSN or higher preferred and at least 2 years of L&D experience. On-site shifts, growth opportunities, and a collaborative environment are offered.

Qualifications

• RN with current license in NM.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• 2+ years L&D experience.
• Proficient monitoring of maternal-fetal status.
• Experience with electronic medical records; accurate documentation.
• Strong infection prevention and safety knowledge.
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary team participation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric nursing care to mothers and newborns during Labor and Delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status; interpret data to identify risks and escalate promptly.
• Document care accurately in EMR; ensure compliance and traceability.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices.
• Perform and assist with obstetric procedures and emergency protocols as trained.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Demonstrate ongoing professional development; seek mentorship and pursue advancement.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, expectations, and postnatal care.
