Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a Full-Time Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join the team east of Gallup, NM. You will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns and support the healthcare team during labor, delivery, and perioperative moments.

Ideal candidates will have NM RN licensure, 2+ years in L&D, and current BLS/NRP certifications. Strong communication, teamwork, and emergency response skills are essential for patient education and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current NRP certification.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor and delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, administer medications, and assist with pain management.
• Support physicians and midwives during deliveries and surgical procedures when needed.
• Educate patients and families on the birthing process and postnatal care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation.
• Respond to emergency situations with professionalism and clinical expertise.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
