Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in Charlotte, NC. Join a high-volume unit delivering 300-400 babies monthly, with a 20-bed unit, dedicated triage, OR, and PACU spaces.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, provide nursing care, educate families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. Required RN licensure in the state with a diploma or GED; BSN preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• ENPC, TNCC or CEN preferred.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire, required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients: conduct comprehensive assessments, analyze clinical data, identify care needs, and anticipate changes in patient condition.
• Develop care plans: collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to create and adjust individualized plans of care based on patient goals and needs.
• Provide nursing care: implement care plans, administer medications, perform nursing procedures, educate patients and families, and respond to emergencies.
• Evaluate outcomes: monitor patient progress, assess responses to interventions, and modify care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Communicate effectively: SBARQ and other tools to ensure safe handoffs, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accurate documentation.
• Delegate responsibly: assign tasks while maintaining accountability for patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Promote professional practice: adhere to nursing standards and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Support team success: mentor colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
