Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care and promote positive outcomes through compassionate, efficient nursing practice. The RN will coordinate care under supervision, review needs, and support multidisciplinary collaboration across units.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in Nursing with 1 year of RN experience. North Carolina RN licensure or a Compact state license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed.
• Analyzes patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Prepares nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.
• Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Evaluates patient response to interventions and identifies any additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
