Job summary

Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) is seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide direct patient care under general supervision. The role requires an associate degree in nursing, Maryland RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Assess, plan and coordinate care with patient, family and care team.
• Administer medications and IV therapy, and initiate emergencies as needed.
• Maintain documentation and communicate status to physicians and team.
• Participate in teaching, quality improvement and unit-based monitoring.
