Job summary

Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, CA, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery and Nursery care. You will collaborate with obstetric teams to provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a high-volume setting.

Required are a California RN license, current NRP/ACLS/BLS, and 1 year of Labor/Delivery and Nursery experience. A preceptorship may be needed for nurses with less than one year of experience.

Qualifications

• California RN license required; active and in good standing.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring training required with refresh every 2 years.
• AWHONN Basic/Intermediate/Advanced classes per training plan.
• NRP, ACLS and BLS certifications must be current.
• 1 year RN experience in Labor/Delivery and Nursery required; postpartum preferred.
• Less than 1 year may require a 12–16 week preceptorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe obstetric, labor and delivery and nursery care as an RN.
• Maintain fetal monitoring and respond to patient needs during labor.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and support staff to ensure quality care.
