Qualifications

California RN license.
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring. Successful completion of course every two years.
AWHONN Basic Fetal Monitoring class within New to Specialty training program.
AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring class within 9 months of hire into a New to Specialty training program).
NRP Successful completion of course of the AAP and AHA.
ACLS
BLS
One year experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery and Nursery required.
One year experience as a Registered Nurse in Post Partum, preferred.
RN’s with less than one-year experience must complete a 12 - 16 week preceptorship program.
