Job summary

Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, California, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires CA RN licensure, BLS, NRP within 6 months, and L&D/postpartum/newborn nursery experience with fetal monitoring skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California (CA).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• NRP certification within 6 months.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, or Newborn Nursery.
• Fetal monitoring experience for L&D/antepartum positions.

Responsibilities

• Performs total body and system assessment each shift/visit according to unit standards.
• Including planning, implementing, evaluating and educating.
• Utilizes technology, procedures, protocols, standards and interventions specific to assigned unit.
• Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation according to policies and procedures.
• Accepts responsibility and accountability for own decisions and behaviors.
• Participates in orientation of new staff and mentors students, serving as resource to staff.

We are offering a $15,000 Sign-on Bonus to new hires who meet the eligbility requirements.
