Job summary

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery to provide patient-centered care within a high-volume, team-focused environment. Expect to collaborate closely with obstetric and nursery staff to ensure safe, high-quality perinatal care.

The role requires California RN licensure and completion of AWHONN fetal monitoring courses, plus NRP/ AHA/ ACLS/BLS certifications. Prior Labor/Delivery and Nursery experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• California RN license is required.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring courses required every two years.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring class within New to Specialty training program.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring class within 9 months of hire into a New to Specialty training program.
• NRP/ AAP and AHA course completion required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• One year experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery and Nursery is required.
• One year experience in Post Partum is preferred.
• Nurses with less than one year experience must complete a 12-16 week preceptorship.
