St. David’s HealthCare in Austin, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery Float Pool. You’ll provide bedside care, collaborate with the maternal-child team, and support patient-centered outcomes across shifts.

This role requires ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, RN licensure, and an Associate or Bachelor degree. Two years of RN experience and no travel are expected, with opportunities for growth through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 6 months of start date
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of start date
• RN license (RN) required
• Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing required
• No travel required
• 2 years RN experience required

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients under supervision
• Provide evidence-based nursing care aligned with hospital policies and procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and family to optimize patient outcomes
