Job summary

Mount Carmel St. Ann's Labor and Delivery unit in Ohio is seeking Registered Nurses for full-time opportunities. We welcome new graduates and experienced nurses to join a high-volume maternal care team in a hospital known for comprehensive services and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, assisting with examinations and treatments, medication administration, and emergency response, with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other care team members.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients using evidence-based practice.
• Assist providers with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
• Perform basic medical procedures under provider supervision; setup procedures.
• Administer medications per standards and guidelines.
• Assist in emergency situations under provider direction.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, diagnosis, and care.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately in the chart.
