Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification required.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in state(s) where services are provided.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Applies the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and performs timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Potentially floats to other units within the service area as needed.
• Demonstrates effective communication, teamwork, and professional development.
