Job summary

Novant Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Family Care Unit in Matthews, NC. You will support moms and babies through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum in a single continuous journey of care.

We value teamwork, collaboration and exceptional patient-family care. Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduate, Bachelors preferred, and at least one year of acute nursing experience with active RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• If RN license inactive for 5+ years, complete Board approved refresher course before reactivating.

Responsibilities

• Join the Family Care Unit to support moms and babies through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
• Provide compassionate, team-based care in a true LDRP model.
• Ensure high-quality nursing care and collaboration with the care team.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Bachelors degree preferred

Refresh/refresher if licensure inactive

What We're Looking For

• Education:
  - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  - If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience:One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  - Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
  -Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
