Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) unit at Union facility. 36 hours/week, full-time, nights 7pm–7am, weekends required.

The role focuses on family-centered care from admission through postpartum recovery for patients around 32 weeks gestation and above. Ideal candidates will have 1 year L&D experience, BLS and an active RN license, with strong clinical judgment and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active RN license with state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils and quality initiatives.
• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Maintain safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• Collaborate with team and delegate when appropriate.
