Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Current Maryland RN license required.
• Healthcare Provider CPR biennial.
• 1 year RN experience required.
• Proficiency in nursing process and care planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and use computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Nursing Process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and update written plans of care.
• Coordinate patient, family, and health team in care planning and discharge.
• Administer medications and IV therapy; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Document patient status and plan of care; communicate with care team.
• Supervise and delegate care to ancillary staff as appropriate.
• Participate in teaching, quality improvement, and professional excellence activities.
