Job summary

Allegheny Health Network's West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an RN for Labor & Delivery to work full-time 36 hours per week with rotating day/night shifts and weekend requirements. The role includes mandatory call per West Penn CBA.

The department features 15 L&D beds, 6 triage rooms, 3 C-section ORs, and a strong Magnet-recognized program. You will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with the team, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Preferred Certification in Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB, RNC-MNN, RNC-IAP, C-EFM, C-OBE)
• 2 years of inpatient RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Assists in coordinating patient care and mentoring staff.
• Performs nursing assessments, plans, and implements care for obstetric patients.
• Ensures patient safety and participates in quality initiatives.
• Maintains HIPAA and privacy compliance and adheres to hospital policies.
