Job summary

Providence Swedish Issaquah is seeking a Manager Nursing for Labor and Delivery on the Day Shift. The role leads a unit with Labor & Delivery beds, OB ED, and OB ORs, directing patient care and ensuring quality standards 24/7.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN, WA RN license, BLS, at least 3 years of recent nursing experience, and first-line management experience; MSN is preferred. Relocation bonus is available for eligible external candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within two years.
• WA RN license required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers at hire.
• Minimum three years of recent nursing experience.
• Must meet professional RN criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical and operational activities of the unit.
• Develop, implement, and monitor unit-based quality improvement programs.
• Ensure 24-hour patient care and adherence to standards.
• Coach, develop, evaluate, and advocate for staff.
• Collaborate with CNS and educator on service education.
