Job summary

Providence Swedish in Seattle is seeking an Assistant Nursing Manager for Labor and Delivery at Swedish First Hill. The ANM supports the unit director, oversees clinical operations across shifts, and ensures patient care aligns with standards.

You’ll lead staffing and quality initiatives, collaborate with the CNS and educators, and play a key role in DEI, high-risk obstetrics, and 24/7 coverage. A BSN and WA RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required or equivalent.
• Washington RN license required at hire.
• BLS certification at hire (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial presence across all shifts and coordinate care.
• Develop, implement, and monitor unit-based quality improvement programs.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, and retention for the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with CNS/educator to implement evidence-based practice changes.
