Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a Charlotte, North Carolina assignment. The unit handles high volumes, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour work week on a 26‑week contract starting 10/12/2026. The role requires strong obstetric skills and RN licensure.

The candidate must have 2+ years in L&D (3 preferred), BCLS/NRP/AWHONN certs, and be able to circulate for C-sections and manage high-risk obstetrical patients. Travel experience and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in Labor & Delivery; 3 years preferred.
• Experience in high-volume settings (>300 births/month) required.
• Valid RN license.
• Current certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP; C-EFM accepted in lieu.
• Must circulate for C-sections and manage high-risk obstetrical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for obstetrical patients 16 weeks and greater, including high-risk antepartum and postpartum care.
• Conduct sterile vaginal exams and manage immediate newborn care.
• Circulate for Cesarean births and handle high-volume patient admissions.
• Maintain oversight of patient care in a unit averaging 20 births in 24 hours and 40 daily visits.
