Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Able to assess, interpret and document patient status with accuracy.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing practice and patient safety.
• Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams using SBAR.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications per policy and procedures.
• Assesses and documents patient status and response to treatment.
• Establishes rapport with patients and families to understand care needs.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, medications and self-care.
