Qualifications

• RN with valid license and nursing degree.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications within scope of practice and hospital policies.
• Assesses, evaluates, interprets and documents patients' physical and mental status.
• Identifies care requirements by establishing rapport with patients and families.
• Promotes independence through teaching patients and caregivers.
• Ensures quality of care by adhering to standards and adjusting as needed.
• Maintains safe, clean environment and confidentiality; documents actions in EMR.
• Keeps professional knowledge up-to-date through education and networking.
• Completes annual competency and regulatory education.
• Contributes to team goals as measured by patient experience metrics.
