Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ, seeks a Nursing Associate Director to provide leadership and operational oversight for Labor and Delivery. This role balances clinical excellence with compassionate leadership, guiding staff through daily operations, staffing, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN (MSN preferred) with two years of clinical management experience, RN license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN required for all new hires.
• Two years of clinical management experience in the relevant patient population.
• RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and clinical support to patients and staff in Labor & Delivery.
• Lead quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Oversee staffing, budgets, and resource allocation for the unit.
• Foster staff leadership and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safe, high-quality patient care.
