BayCare Health System's Winter Haven Women's Hospital Labor & Delivery unit is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager - Patient Care Leader. This role supports the Nurse Manager, supervises staff, and ensures high-quality patient care in a high-acuity maternity setting.

The ideal candidate holds a RN license with BLS and NRP, a Bachelor's in Nursing, and at least two years of acute RN experience, plus leadership exposure. On-call availability and full-time commitment required.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of RN acute care experience.
• Strong background in Labor & Delivery.
• Leadership experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Assist Nurse Manager in supervising unit operations and staff performance.
• Provide 24/7 accountability for assigned patients and ensure quality care.
• Address patient care issues and support hiring, counseling, and termination processes.
