Qualifications

• Accredited Nursing Program is required.
• ACLS Certification (AHA) required for designated areas.
• BLS Certification (AHA) required.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification required.
• NRP Certification required.
• Registered Nurse License - State of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment.
• Monitors and documents patient condition and communicates appropriately.
• Assists with department goals and standards aligning to the organization’s vision.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Manages staff relations including performance, satisfaction and conflict management.
• Oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll and student engagements where applicable.
