Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a licensed practical nurse for a dual role as Labor & Delivery LPN and scrub technician, assisting in caesarean sections. Prior inpatient OR experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

The role offers a variable schedule with every other weekend and rotating holidays, and may include night shifts. You will collaborate with the health care team to deliver compassionate, efficient care across the obstetrics unit.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• LPN license required.
• Current Ohio license required.
• Medication course approved by Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum.
• Scrub in for caesarean sections as trained.
• Collaborate with care team and delegate tasks to UAPs as appropriate.
• Participate in safety, quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Work a variable schedule with night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.
