Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Department Support Assistant to join Labor and Delivery in Arlington Heights. This full-time role covers 32 hours per week with shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm, every other weekend. You will manage front desk duties, greet patients, handle mail, and support supply and document tasks.

Applicants should have strong Microsoft skills, exceptional customer service, and hospital experience. BLS certification is required; Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and department systems.
• High level of customer service skills.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year hospital experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides front desk coverage by answering and directing calls.
• Greet patients and family members and provide assistance as needed.
• Collecting and distributing department mail.
• Monitor and order supplies, submit work orders, and assemble documents.
