Job summary

ProHealth Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Nurse Educator with a focus on Labor and Delivery to lead clinical education, competency validation, and staff development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in clinical education, training and development, nursing professional development or a related role preferred.
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license.
• Previous clinical nursing experience in Labor and Delivery, Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum, maternal-child health or a closely related specialty required.
• Strong clinical knowledge of fetal monitoring, labor management, postpartum care, newborn assessment and obstetric emergency response.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required or obtained within established department guidelines.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification strongly preferred.
• Instructor certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP or fetal monitoring preferred.
• Experience developing or facilitating clinical simulation, competency validation and staff education strongly preferred.
