Job summary

Ahern in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking an Assistant Labor Coordinator to manage employee records, onboarding and safety requirements, and union wage rate administration. You will support onboarding/off-boarding, track certifications and renewals, generate HR reports, and serve as the main liaison with unions while ensuring accurate paperwork across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Labor coordination experience including labor/union agreements in construction.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee records and onboarding/offboarding paperwork.
• Coordinate pre-employment and on-the-job safety requirements.
• Track terminations and administer union wage rates.
• Maintain employee certifications and renewals; provide reports to trade bureaus.
• Serve as primary contact for unions and handle labor coordination inquiries.
