Job summary

The Freeman Company, a leader in live events, seeks a Labor Control Coordinator to provide labor-scheduling services for the Las Vegas branch. This full-time, in-person role supports our Event & Exhibit Services team and requires coordinating with customers, team members, and third-party vendors.

The ideal candidate has at least one year scheduling experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of scheduling experience.
  • Experience working with a collective bargaining agreement.
  • Strong software skills including email, timekeeping, phone system, and payroll.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and data management.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical and administrative duties in an office setting.
  • Use office software including Word, email, and Excel; use SharePoint and Citrix for tickets.
  • Open and create new files for each job/show.
  • Operate and maintain office equipment; troubleshoot and liaise with IT as needed.
  • Assist with other projects and special assignments as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

It is the responsibility of the Labor Control Coordinator to provide labor-scheduling services for the branch. Professionally interacts with customers, team members, and third-party vendor/partner representatives to provide the highest level of service excellence. This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties in an office setting.
  • Uses a variety of office software applications including but not limited to word processing, email, and excel, and using Share point (ECS) and Citrix (TSS & EMS) for tickets processing.
  • Open and create new files for each individual job/show.
  • Operate and maintain office equipment such as printers and copy machines, fixing any malfunctioning office equipment to best of knowledge, calling IT when needed. Replacing toners, empting waste box and maintaining paper supplies. May serve as liaison with Copier service and vendor.
  • Assists with other projects and special assignments as required by Freeman management team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Required
  • At least 1 year of previous scheduling experience.
  • Previous experience working with a collective bargaining agreement.
  • Strong software skills, including email, timekeeping, phone system, and/or payroll.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data management tools and creating automated processes.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Preferred
  • Any level of college, technical degree, or certification in business administration, finance, event planning, or similar.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write languages in addition to English.
