Job summary

Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. seeks an associate with 3–6 years of litigation experience to join our Labor & Employment practice group in the Tucson office.

The ideal candidate will have case management experience, drafting motions, and handling discovery and depositions, with guidance on Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, ACRA, NLRA and related laws. The position is full-time with partnership-track potential and eligibility for discretionary bonuses, 401K plan, and other firm benefits.

Qualifications

• Three to six years of labor and employment litigation experience.
• Experience drafting motions and handling discovery and depositions.
• Advising on Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, ACRA, NLRA and related laws.
• Admission to practice in Arizona or eligibility to waive in or sit for the bar.

Job description

Snell & Wilmer seeks to hire an associate with three to six years of litigation experience to join our Labor & Employment practice group in the firm’s Tucson office. The ideal candidate will have case management experience in the labor and employment arena, including drafting motions and handling discovery and depositions, together with experience advising on matters arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Arizona Civil Rights Act (ACRA), the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), and other state and federal employment laws. Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills are required, as is admission to practice law in Arizona or eligibility to waive in or sit for the bar.

This is a full-time, partnership-track position that is eligible to participate in the firm’s benefit plans, including our 401K Profit Sharing and Savings Plan with discretionary employer contribution, and is eligible for consideration for annual discretionary bonuses.
