Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse in the Maternal Child department in New Jersey. You will deliver evidence-based care, communicate effectively with patients and the care team, and support a family-centered approach to health and wellness.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, 1 year of MCH experience, BLS/CPR, and prefers NRP/ACLS and a BSN within 3 years. Expect a collaborative environment with ongoing education and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license is required.
• AHA BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Maternal Child departments (PCU, nursery, L&D, NICU).
• NRP and ACLS are highly preferred; must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• BSN is highly preferred or must be obtained within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based policies and standards to provide safe, patient-centered care for a diverse population.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families and health-care team regarding patient status and care plans.
• Aim for optimal patient/family satisfaction and care experience according to HMH standards.
• Administer medications using the latest clinical documentation technology to ensure safe delivery of meds.
• Collaborate in planning and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge.
