Job summary

MCC, a global leader of premium labels, is seeking Machine Operators and Printing Assistants/Support in Scottsburg, Indiana. Experience is not required but is a bonus, and you’ll join a team that values quality and safety in producing labels and flexible packaging.

We offer starting pay of $19.50 per hour plus a $1.00 night shift premium, a $40 monthly fitness reimbursement, shoe reimbursement, paid holidays, and full benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k)).

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic math and measurement conversions.
• Ability to read and understand a job ticket.
• Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.
• Team-oriented with good communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operates machines to create labels and flexible packaging.
• Checks print and seam quality continuously.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web per spec.
• Handles rolls and pallets to prevent damage; uses ruler and safety tools.
• Assists with changeover and external make-ready tasks.
• Records data on designated paperwork and in Globetek.
