Job summary

MCC is seeking Machine Operators and Printing Assistants to join our team. The role involves operating labeling and packaging machinery, monitoring print quality, and assisting with changeovers on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Basic math and unit conversions for label counts.
• Familiarity with Windows applications and data entry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to read a ruler and understand measurements.
• Print shop experience is helpful but not required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read a job ticket and follow specs.
• Color vision and testable acuity.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to create labels and flexible packaging.
• Check print and seam quality; remove defects.
• Splice rolls and handle material without damage.
• Assist in changeovers and external make-ready tasks.
• Enter data into Globetek and related paperwork.
• Follow quality assurance specs and complete documentation.
• Work overtime as needed and support special projects.
