Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group is seeking a Quality Rewind Operator for 1st shift in Pennsauken, NJ. The role focuses on inspecting, rewinding, and preparing finished label products for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer specs.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret customer specifications, and experience with label rewind/inspection equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or printing preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and customer specifications.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate label rewind and inspection equipment to inspect finished labels prior to shipment.
• Perform 100% visual inspection of printed labels for quality and accuracy.
• Verify customer specifications including color, registration, print quality, barcode readability, die-cut accuracy, label count, core size, roll direction, splice requirements.
• Remove defective material and ensure only conforming product is shipped.
• Accurately complete quality documentation and production records.
• Label, package, and prepare finished rolls for shipment.
• Communicate quality concerns to Production, Quality Assurance, and Supervisors.
