Inovar Packaging Group, a leading NA flexographic and digital printer, is hiring a Label Inspector/Rewind Operator in Fishers, IN. You will operate an upright rewinder, inspect finished rolls for conformance to specifications, and address defects to maintain the company’s high standards.

The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality protocols. Qualifying candidates demonstrate mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• On the job training provided.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rewinding equipment per job specs.
• visually inspect finished rolls for quality against specs.
• Identify defects and address issues to maintain consistency.
• Perform light maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues; escalate major problems.
• Move materials using pallet jacks and roll lifts as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area in line with OSHA rules.
• Communicate with managers and team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support process improvements to boost productivity and reduce waste.
