Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group LLC is seeking a Quality Rewind Operator in Pennsauken Township, NJ. The role involves inspecting, rewinding, and preparing finished label products for shipment while upholding Inovar's quality standards.

The candidate will identify defects and verify specifications to ensure only compliant products ship to customers. The role requires attention to detail, ability to read orders, and basic math skills, with a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Thurs 3:00pm-1:30am) and a base pay of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing or printing experience preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and customer specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify print defects.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience operating label rewind or inspection equipment (preferred).
• Experience in flexographic or digital label printing (preferred).
• Knowledge of pressure-sensitive labels (preferred).
• Familiarity with barcode verification and quality inspection procedures (preferred).
• Previous quality control or manufacturing inspection experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate label rewind and inspection equipment to inspect finished labels prior to shipment.
• Perform 100% visual inspection of printed labels for quality and accuracy.
• Verify customer specifications including: Color consistency, Registration, Print quality, Variable data, Barcode readability, Die-cut accuracy, Label count, Core size, Roll direction, Splice requirements.
• Remove defective material and ensure only conforming product is shipped.
• Accurately complete quality documentation and production records.
• Label, package, and prepare finished rolls for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Communicate quality concerns to Production, Quality Assurance, and Supervisors.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and organization.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and company quality procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality and reduce waste.
