Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group is seeking a Quality Rewind Operator for 1st shift in Pennsauken Township, NJ. The role focuses on inspecting, rewinding, and preparing finished label products for shipment while validating adherence to customer specifications and quality standards.

The candidate will operate rewind and inspection equipment, perform 100% quality checks, and document production records. Strong attention to detail and the ability to read work orders and specs are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing or printing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify print defects.
• Ability to read work orders and customer specifications.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate label rewind and inspection equipment to inspect finished labels prior to shipment.
• Perform 100% visual inspection of printed labels for quality and accuracy.
• Verify customer specifications including color, registration, print quality, variable data, barcode readability, die-cut accuracy, label count, core size, roll direction, splice requirements.
• Remove defective material and ensure only conforming product is shipped.
• Accurately complete quality documentation and production records.
• Label, package, and prepare finished rolls for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Communicate quality concerns to Production, Quality Assurance, and Supervisors.
