Job summary

MCC is seeking an entry-level Picker/Packer to inspect, band, and shrink wrap finished label stacks and to assemble and pack boxes for shipment. The role supports production quality, safety, and sustainability standards and offers growth into other positions within the company.

Ideal candidates are comfortable standing for long periods, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work well with a team in a fast-paced facility. Training is provided to develop within MCC’s manufacturing culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to use hands to feel and touch, and to hear and talk.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished labels to ensure quality.
• Apply bands and shrink wrap to stacks of labels.
• Assemble corrugated boxes or trays.
• Pack finished labels in boxes for shipment.
• Stack boxes on pallets for shipment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Operate pallet jack.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures (ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP).
• Maintain daily housekeeping and assist with facility cleaning as needed.
• Travel as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
