Job summary

MCC is hiring for an entry-level Picker/Packer role focused on inspecting, banding, and shrink wrapping stacks of finished labels. The position involves assembling and packing boxes for shipment, and interacting with other departments to meet safety, production, and quality standards.

This entry-level role is designed for growth into other positions within MCC. The ideal candidate is able to stand for long periods, maintain a positive attitude, and meet physical requirements including lifting up

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for full shift.
• Positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Manual dexterity to handle labels and boxes.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspects finished labels for quality.
• Bands and shrink wraps stacks of finished labels.
• Assembles corrugated boxes or trays.
• Packs finished labels in boxes for shipment.
• Stacks boxes on pallets for shipment.
• Completes required documentation promptly.
• Operates a pallet jack.
• Follows facility safety policies and procedures (ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP).
• Maintains daily housekeeping including painting/cleaning as needed.
• Travels as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
