Job summary

DuraMark Technologies in Westfield, IN is seeking a hands-on Machine Operator to support our printing and converting operations on the production floor. You will operate laser converting machines and industrial printers, perform quality checks, and assist in final finishing while maintaining lean, waste-reducing practices.

You must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds, and work with ERP systems (NetSuite or equivalent).

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of production experience in a low-volume, high-product-mix environment is preferred.
• Experience with Kanban is a plus.
• Background with laser converting machines or industrial printers is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser converting machines and industrial printers.
• Print and/or convert labels according to the production schedule in the ERP system (NetSuite).
• Organize labels by order and due date.
• Scan out raw materials as consumed.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and organization.
• Prioritize daily activities based on production need.
• Follow all guidelines and procedures of the production department.
