Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years previous experience as an Operator or Production Associate.
• Technical skills related to basic equipment maintenance.
• Self-motivated and able to work at a fast pace.
• High attention to detail and ability to work at a faster than average pace.
• Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Computer proficiency and advanced understanding of production functions, processes, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Receives customer order from Planning Department; gather all necessary information to complete order.
• Retrieves layout, adjust layout to appropriate size and send to printer or screen printing department.
• Upon completion of print order, accurately prepare materials for post printing; cutting, laminating and cleaning.
• Assists in packaging material.
• Verify manufacturing efficiency and quality (accuracy, scrap, utilization, rework, equipment downtime).
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary.
• Maintain production rate consistency; meet or exceed established minimum production rates.
• Comply with relevant occupational health and safety requirements.
• Keep the production area neat, clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.
