Job summary

Vestcom, a stand-alone business unit of Avery Dennison, is seeking a diligent Label Machine Operator in Charlotte, NC. You will operate label machines, manage production deadlines, minimize waste, and keep accurate logs of materials and time using the TCM system.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, experience with digital inkjet presses, and strong mechanical and computer aptitude. Experience with variable data printing and inserters like DM10/Flow Master is a plus, along with

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience running digital inkjet presses and strong mechanical/computer aptitude.
• Experience in variable data printing and/or mailing services.
• Experience with insertions and print bindery equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates label machines to meet production deadlines according to the daily schedule.
• Minimizes waste and misuse of raw materials.
• Communicates label production issues with Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintains daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance schedules for machines.
• Maintains inventory levels of raw materials and logs usage for FIFO control.
