Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Training Coordinator to join our Itasca, IL team. The role focuses on onboarding new employees, delivering both group and individual training, and ensuring compliance with department policies and LIS usage.

You will develop training materials, monitor metrics, and support leadership in achieving quality targets. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science and at least one year as a technologist, with travel as needed across the territory for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 1 year or more of experience as a Technologist.
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with laboratory information systems.
• Ability to travel throughout the territory for training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding of new employees and initial training for a positive new hire experience.
• Provide ongoing group and individualized training for performance enhancement and education.
• Deliver training on company and department policies, competencies, and Lab Information Systems.
• Develop resources and programs to accomplish training objectives.
• Evaluate and update existing training materials and plans.
• Serve as a procedural and compliance resource for department employees.
• Support leadership with goals related to quality and service metrics.
• Maintain logs and records for trainings conducted.
