Job summary

Dexian seeks an experienced Business Analyst to support scientific applications and laboratory technology initiatives in Cambridge, MA. Hybrid work arrangement, 6–12 month duration, pay range $100-$120/hour on W2.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting scientific, laboratory, R&D, or research applications.
• Experience working directly with scientists or laboratory teams.
• Ability to translate laboratory/scientific workflows into system requirements or configurations.
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with scientists and lab stakeholders to understand workflows and technology needs.
• Translate requirements into clear system and functional specifications.
• Support projects involving scientific applications and laboratory platforms.
• Contribute to end-to-end sample workflows and inventory management.
• Support ELN implementations, configurations, and workflows.
• Assist with assay and method registration system implementations.
• Support instrument data capture and integration initiatives.
• Identify automation opportunities and workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with technical and scientific teams to ensure usable applications.
• Help design configurations to improve ELN interactions and data capture.
• Support data generation for downstream data platforms and lakehouse environments.
• Coordinate requirements gathering, testing, and deployment with cross-functional teams.
